StarLux Boutique Hotel at Morey's Piers
*Disclosure – We were invited to enjoy a family weekend at Morey’s Piers. Our visit included complimentary accommodations for two nights (one room) at the Starlux; daily continental breakfast; three-day ride and waterpark passes; $25 per person credit for Joe’s Fish Co. (alcohol not included); and a variety pack of vouchers to use during your stay such as one free game per person, a barrel of Curley’s Fries, and more. In exchange I was asked to share my experiences. All opinions are my own.As a part of our weekend at Morey's Piers we stayed at the StarLux Boutique Hotel. The StarLux is part of the Morey Resort collection. The hotel was very retro... fitting in perfectly with the retro 50s doo wop feel of Wildwood, NJ.

The StarLux was a really cool place to stay. It wasn't very fancy... but the details put into creating the atmosphere made it a really special place. Interior and exterior, hotel rooms and public spaces. Everything from the architecture to the light fixtures, mirrors, and furniture. It was all perfectly 50s. (I kept thinking the Fonz should be walking around.)
The Airstream trailer "rooms" looked really cool. I didn't get a chance to look inside... but the whole look of them was fun. It looked like you had traveled back in time to this little 50s trailer park. I imagine it would be a really fun way to vacation with kids... or to vacation with a larger family. You really would have an interesting vacation story to tell.
If you're looking for a theme hotel... StarLux should be on your list of places to visit.
Oh... and my favorite part of the stay may have been when the girls were like "Wait.... what's a lava lamp?"
