Jenkinson's Boardwalk - A Perfect Day Trip (giveaway

I was so excited to be invited to join the Jenkinson's Family Ambassador group. Every summer we make sure to get down to the Jersey Shore... but we've never gone to Point Pleasant and Jenkinson's Boardwalk as a family. I know when I was little we would visit an Aunt in Point Pleasant... and Nick says he had been before. This was a great excuse to put some shore trips on our calendar. And, with Point Pleasant only about 1 hour 15 minutes from Madison... it really makes the perfect day trip destination for us.
On our first visit (in May) we met up with some of the other #JenksAmbassador group. It was such a fun meet-up since some of my favorite NJ Moms were also a part of the group. SO much fun to catch up with @JenRab, @ThePoshParent, @ckrusch, and @RitzKingRG! Plus... I love when our kids get to socialize.

After our lunch meet-up we split up to enjoy everything Jenkinson's has to offer. We spent our afternoon with Claudia (Trendy Latina) and her family. Our husbands really hit it off (and want to get together for guitar playing)... and Zoe and Lucas were quick ride buddies (and look forward to another ride date in the future).
After the rides we headed over to the Jenkinson's Aquarium. It's a nice little aquarium. It gives you a time out from the summer sun with just enough to keep you interested. (The penguins are always our favorite I think.)
After the aquarium we said our goodbyes to Claudia and her family. We had dinner in one of the restaurants near the Jenkinson's Pavilion (oh how I love seafood) and went for a quick walk on the beach before heading for home.
We had such an awesome day down the shore. Jenkinson's Boardwalk is absolutely somewhere we're going to be planning many day trips in our future.
