Monet's Garden at The New York Botanical Garden

It's so hard to believe it's already November 18th.  You really get a kind of skewed or off sense of time passing when you experience a hurricane, 4 day power outage, time change, Halloween postponement, kids out of school for a full week, husband traveling for 2 full weeks in a row, a nor'easter, 20 day service (cable, phone, internet) outage... Yeah, that's been life between 10/29 and 11/18.  21 days of CRAZY!

I think we're back to normal now.  I think.  I hope.

What does all of that have to do with Monet's Garden at the New York Botanical Garden?  Well, a lifetime ago (the weekend before we had a clue of the crazy that was to come) we went to visit the NYBG thanks to tickets I won from Mitch (aka Gay NYC Dad).  We went to see the Haunted Pumpkin Garden (pictures will be up LATE but next, even though Halloween is SO over) and after getting our fill of pumpkins and zombies we squeezed in a visit to Monet's Garden.  It was the last weekend of the exhibit... and it was beautiful.  I would have shared my photos earlier, but they were kind of trapped in my camera thanks to the whole power outage/no internet thing.

So... Monet's Garden at the New York Botanical Garden (10/20/12)...
