Green Meadows Petting Farm (in May)

This was our second visit to the Green Meadows Petting Farm in Kissimmee.  This visit was MUCH hotter.  As wonderful a place as the petting farm is... I would advise you to stay away from farm animals when it's 90 degrees outside.  P. U.  Otherwise, we had another fabulous time.

Ana and Zoe loved riding in the wagon while PopPop pulled them along.

DUCK!

This photo cracks me up.  I don't know what exactly it is.  Zoe's face?  Ana's face?  The Llama looking almost regal?  Just cracks me up.

Hay ride.

Guess what???

Turkey butt!

Sorry.  Couldn't help myself.  : )
By the way... I believe turkeys are extremely ugly creatures.

Pony ride.

Ana's very first pony ride ever.  She was less than impressed.

Zoe got to hold (what she called) the "cutest little chicken".
Ana - "LOOK LOOK! I SEE CHICKEN!" (forget that she is surrounded by chickens).

But um... LOOK!  A chicken in a tree.  I can't blame that chicken for jumping/flying into the tree.  I'd have run away from all of those screaming children if they were after me too.

Cow

Peacock.

Zoe got to milk a cow again.  We tried to get Ana to milk the cow, too.  She was havin' none of that.

Farm collie.  We shared our lunch with her.

YeeHaw!

Ana was about done.

Zoe insisted on having her photo taken on the tractor.  She did not care that it was a big hunk of metal sitting out in the Florida sun.

We did have a very fun time.  The girls just love the animals and all of the hands on activity.  I am sure we'll go again to Green Meadows... but I can promise you we will never ever go if it is just TOO HOT!
